1 August 2024 New 2025 livery for W series icon

Tracing its lineage back to the very formation of the Kawasaki’s mass production of motorcycles, the W800 appears in new livery for the 2025 sales season*.

Related to the famous Meguro motorcycles that formed the basis of the W1 - Kawasaki’s first mass produced large -capacity, four-stroke machine from 1966 that caused a sensation in Japan and across the globe - the W800 has a loyal and enthusiastic following.

Equipped with an air-cooled, twin-cylinder, four-stroke engine, the precision of the bevel gear camshaft drive is just one marker of quality for the W800 which boasts bright chrome mudguards front and rear, analogue styled instruments and authentic 1960’s style metal side panels.

Setting this and the beautifully upholstered twin seat off is a new paint scheme for 2025. Black side panels are complemented by a fuel tank which boasts a subtle combination of Metallic Midnight Gold/Metallic Diablo Black plus a delicate horizontal yellow pin-stripe below the classic W tank emblem and ahead of the “in-period” tank mounted rubber knee grips.

In a world where many products appear to be authentic yet are anything but, the W800 remains the genuine article and W fans can now specify a new colourway for a new riding season.
